Shed Moving Crew Member Full-Time | Lecanto, Florida

As a Shed Moving Crew Member, you will assist with the safe relocation, delivery, setup, leveling, blocking, and anchoring of portable buildings. You will work alongside experienced crew members using specialized equipment at residential and commercial properties throughout the service area.

Previous shed-moving experience is not required for every applicant. Experience with construction, transportation, trailers, equipment operation, towing, landscaping, or other outdoor trades may be helpful.

Typical Responsibilities

A Day With the Crew

This would help make Crystal River’s page substantially different from Shed Setters.

1. Prepare for the Day

Meet with the crew, review scheduled projects, and load the tools and materials needed for each move.

2. Travel to the Jobsite

Visit customer properties throughout Citrus County and surrounding Central Florida communities.

3. Review the Property

Assess access, ground conditions, obstacles, building size, and final placement requirements.

4. Move and Position the Building

Assist with lifting, maneuvering, transporting, and placing the portable building safely.

5. Complete the Setup

Help level, block, and anchor the building before cleaning the site and confirming the finished placement.

Yes. Most fieldwork takes place outdoors at customer properties throughout Central Florida.

The position involves standing, walking, lifting, bending, and working on uneven surfaces. Applicants must be able to perform the essential duties of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.

A CDL is not required for every position. Driving requirements depend on the job and the equipment assigned to the employee.

Local and regional travel is common. The distance and schedule depend on the location and complexity of each project.
